Welcome to my site, here you’ll find articles about IT and programming.
This site’s content is written by hand (well with a keyboard of course). It is important for me because I don’t want to waste your time, I’ve got nothing to sell.
Despite the thoughts and care put into this site, some mistakes or imprecisions might slip through. If you happen to find one, don’t hesitate to let me know. You can find my contact information at the bottom of the page.

Who am I ?
I am a 32 years old Cloud Engineer with a passion for IT. I live in northern France, where I grew up.
My main job is to manage cloud infrastructure for my company, CI/CD pipelines and help developers bring their services online by putting internal tooling in place.
I try to work as much as I can with open-source and Free software, because I care about keeping the control of my machines and my data.
My favourite tools
Like everyone else, I got preferences for some tools. It is of course only a reflection of my personal taste and experiences.
OS: I mainly une GNU/Linux systems. Unfortunately I have to use macOS for work but I’d rather not.
- NixOS: My main OS today. I chose it for its capacity to encode all your system configuration into a set of files. I find this this very similar to the way Infrastructure as Code works and like that a lot.
- Arch Linux: I used Arch btw for a long time. It’s probably the OS that taught me the most about Linux. You have to install a lot by yourself and this is a great opportunity to dive into the Arch wiki and learn a lot.
- Steam OS: On my steam deck obviously.
DE: Sway : For the endless configuration possibilities, working with hotkeys and the tiling window management
Programming:
- Go: For its simplicity, its place in the DevOps ecosystem, its fast builds and the single binary output. And of course, the controversial
if err != nilwhich I love because it is so explicit - Rust: For its rigourous rules, its compiler and what it taught me abount memory management. Oh and its
Enums. - Python: For its simplicity and ecosystem.
IDE: Neovim : For the hotkeys and the lua configuration. Having played StarCraft, I enjoy typing endlessly at my keyboard to navigate my files
Infrastructure:
- Terraform: For its stability and its ecosystem. I just wish ‘terraform plan’ would scale better with the number of resources.
- Pulumi: For its “true programming language” approach.
- Kubernetes: For its API approach and its control loop system. To me, it’ a kind of “the OS of the cloud”.
